About Harp Arora, Principal

Harp Arora is the founder of Sedona Communications, based in Waterloo, Ontario.   She helps entrepreneurs, professional service firms and not-for-profits attract more of their ideal clients – and only those!  

Coming from a long line of entrepreneurs, Harp knew from a young age she’d own her own business one day.  But first she decided to try her luck in the corporate world.  

Hardwired with an insatiable curiosity and thirst for learning, Harp enjoyed the tremendous opportunities available in corporate life for training, education, and skills development.  But after much soul searching and surviving 10 years as a corporate misfit, she finally cried uncle.   

In 2003, she jumped (or fell off) the corporate ladder to follow her heart and launch marketing and brand consultancy Sedona Communications.  With gratitude for the knowledge and experience gained in corporate marketing roles, Harp re-connected with her own passion to help individuals and growing organizations discover their true, authentic potential. 

Passionate about social entrepreneurship, animals, and nature, Harp is focused on “doing well and doing good”, and helping like-minded organizations do the same.  

Harp is a contributing author to the bestseller "Sales Gurus Speak Out”, published in 6 languages.  She teaches Marketing and Consumer Behaviour at the University of Waterloo, and serves on the advisory board for Waterloo Region’s Small Business Centre.  She volunteers for a number of community organizations.

Harp holds an MBA, a BA in Psychology, and certification as a personal brand strategist (CPBS).
